Manuel Orazi


Manuel Orzai was an Italian art nouveau illustrator and poster artist. He was born in Rome in 1860 and died in Paris in 1934. In 1895 he collaborated with author Austin De Croz to create Calendrier Magique, a famous occult-themed calendar that was limited to 777 copies. Orazi also illustrated novels such as Aphrodited by Pierre Louys and Les Fleurs du mal by Baudelaire. In 1896 Orazi designed jewelry that was showcased at Maison de I'Art Nouveau. In 1921 he design the sets for the silent film L'Atlantide.
